Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

At GIYA Amsterdam, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy, you have the right to return your item(s) within 14 days of receiving your order.

Return Conditions

You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to notify us of your return. After notification, you have another 14 days to send the item(s) back. 

To be eligible for a return:

• The item must be unused and in the same condition you received it.

• It must be returned in the original packaging, with all tags attached.

• You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Items that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted for return. 

Please note that a return handling fee of €5.95 will be deducted from the refund amount.

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please email us at info@giyaamsterdam.com with your order number and the item(s) you’d like to return. Once your return is approved, we will provide you with the return instructions and the return address.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at info@giyaamsterdam.com so we can resolve the issue.

Warranty & Statutory Rights

GIYA Amsterdam provides a 1-year warranty on all products against manufacturing defects. This voluntary warranty covers genuine issues with materials or workmanship, and does not apply to damage caused by improper use, accidents, or normal wear and tear. If you experience any issues during this period, please contact us at info@giyaamsterdam.com.

In addition to this voluntary warranty, your statutory rights remain fully in effect. Under applicable law, you are entitled to a minimum of 2 years of protection for product defects and conformity issues.

Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, you’ll receive a refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. A return handling fee of €5.95 will be deducted from your refund. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take a few extra days to process the refund.
